Proposed Analysis: | Our goal is to identify participants who may be at increased risk of cognitive impairments and introduce early interventions to reduce their risk. Consequently, we propose to derive a normalized neuroimaging dataset from this study population so that we can compare the brain health of our participants to age- and gender-matched peers based on biomarkers, neuroimaging and cognitive functional measures. We also propose to apply machine learning techniques to the time series data for Alzheimer’s disease progression in order to identify factors that may impact a participant’s risk for cognitive impairment based on temporal changes in their brain structure and/or cognitive abilities. |
