Proposed Analysis: | I propose utilizing all available neuroimaging and neurocognitive data at a single (same) time point in a deep learning neural network model harnessing our university's new AI infrastructure. The goal will be to predict domain specific neurocognitive performance with deep learning of multiple MRI modalities registered/normalized to the same imaging space. A separate planned study will include the integration of white matter disease markers (automated calculation of hyperintensities) into metrics of white matter integrity to determine the contribution of white matter hyperintensities to reduced or hyperinflated white matter integrity. The goal of this project will be to build a predictive model that can utilize FLAIR/T2 data alone to predict white matter integrity without the collection of a diffusion tensor image. |
