Proposed Analysis: | The proposed analyses aim to cluster participants demonstrating different patterns of amyloid and tau positivity according to concomitant differences in brain tissue microstructure (as indexed by diffusion MRI). Secondary aims include profiling such sub-groups (defined by presence of AD proteopathies and tissue microstructural differences) according to A) peripheral blood metabolomic readouts and B) cognitive status. In doing so, pathological heterogeneity in AD can be further appreciated complementary to its now-standard A/T/N biological definition. |
